This is a Morgan REM service where we literally go “in house”. As far as the outside world is concerned we are the personnel function of our client. No fees are charged for individual staff appointments (our own charges are based on an agreed “monthly salary” based on the level of input envisaged). Costings include allowances for:

  • Specialist support (local and specialist agencies)
  • Cost effective but high profile local advertising.
  • Any legal & contractual aspects of managing change

Typically the recruitment-related costs do not exceed 10% of the aggregate of salaries involved. This investment also releases Line Managers from the distraction of on site first interviews. However the real measure is the quality of the final result in terms of meeting overall HR, recruitment, and other objectives, such as a refreshed corporate culture.

Case Study: IMC Limited

Company relocation from Home Counties to North Wales – October 2005 – November 2006

Morgan REM were instructed by IMC Ltd to assist with their relocation strategy: taking the Organisation from it’s long-term HQ in Hertfordshire to a specially converted site in Wrexham. With only a small minority of the 95 strong workforce able to relocate, the benefits of moving had to outweigh the costs of replacing two thirds of the highly experienced workforce with new employees in the North Wales area – from shopfloor to senior management

Coach key staff in interview and selection techniques

Run a full recruitment campaign using local and national print media, internet and cross agency searches to build candidate banks for all roles from shop floor apprentices to director level and through first interview provide a realistic pool of good candidates for each position.

Manage administration - offer letters, references etc, ensuring that EU employment criteria were met.

Project completed on time and within budget.
